In the same way right wing parties
despise the people who vote for them by wilfully defying reason in
their political (non) arguments, and perpetually inflicting ruin on
their beloved country, so too do corporations hate the people who buy
their products and services.
They take revenge upon the consuming
public, furious at the idiot masses, those wretches of the domain of
the Everyday, who are integral to their profiteering compulsions. So
enraged by the necessaryness of ordinary people, the corporations
exact upon them the bitter product of their shame and humiliation.
From the products we chose to buy to
the ones we have no choice in buying, the corporate punish us through
an endless cycle of increasingly tedious advertising campaigns. They
begin by offering money to people who work in advertising, who brag
through their labours their misguided belief in their own genius.
They hate us; they despise us and this is demonstrated by the effort
and imbecilic reasoning that goes into their adverts. They are not
artists; they just think they are.
One of the prevailing tricks used in
advertising is the fallacy proof by assertion.
An assertion is made, and through that assertion, logical gymnastics
takes us to the reason why we need to by their product. No real logic
is present here, of course; you either don't need their product, or
you have no choice in the matter.
You
choose to use it or you don't. Either way, they hate your guts, and
all they can do is sneer childishly at you while they inflict
'comedy' songs onto you or crowbar an irritant into your every media
session.
They
hate you, and they think their efforts pass as creativity. They think
you enjoy what they
force you to endure. To them, it is just the right intellectual level
for a dum-fuck like you.
They
need you to pay their wages, so they repay you by insulting you, and
tormenting your every waking moment; you and all the other useless
morons that buy their products.
