Supportory

People's minds in the pockets of the corporate media. It's like a daily hit of confirmation bias; they have no reason to think deeply as to whether ideas make sense, they have bought the lie and get a buzz every time something reminds them they are supporting the right side. It's like a drug for the unaspirational who have achieved so little in their lives; they receive some kind of profound paroxysm through their consumption and propagation of ad hominem memes targeting Corbyn.

But there must be a way to make them realise how duped they are. Sure, vote Tory if you've really thought about it and you agree, but most of these people have never thought about it. They demonstrate that when they fail to provide any compelling argument in favour of the Tories. If every Tory supporter was made aware how strikingly similar their beliefs are to the ideas that are favourable to the rich and the corporate media, if they were to truly grasp that fact, I think a lot of them would feel entirely humiliated.

But perhaps that is the problem. Are they not merely trying to save face, stave off humiliation? Backed into a corner, what else can they do but to continue the charade of supporting woefully incompetent, self-serving morons?
